The Story of The World's Most Beautiful Farm

1912

At the age of 63, Robert A. Long, who made his fortune in the lumber industry, began making plans and consolidating properties that would become Longview Farm.

His vision would transform into a rural retreat for his family and in particular a gift for his daughter, Loula Long Combs, who was internationally known for her show horses and love of the outdoors.

Late 20th Century

Over the years, the landscape of Longview Farm began to change as urban development encroached upon its borders. In the late 20th century, the decision was made to repurpose a portion of the land for residential and commercial use while preserving the historic character of the area.
